Over the last week or so, as I have been pondering the year ahead and what I plan on doing with it, I managed to set some seriously good goals. I’m excited for 2013 and the potential ahead.
I wanted to get a bit playful with it though, shake it up a bit, give it a bit of life. Goals are GREAT. But… I wanted to condense the overall theme for the year down into something short and punchy that I can take with me throughout the year, something I can tap into quickly and easily for a regular reminder of the overall themes for the year.
Aha! Three words to describe my 2013 – perfect!
These are three words I have chosen to reflect my desires and goals for the year ahead:
1. Creativity: Wow! This one is awesome. It’s not a word I would have used to describe my year or myself in the past, but there are big plans afoot chez joannabyrnecoaching.com, which really allow me to get my creative hat on. I’m embracing my creative side. Bring it on!
2. Adventure: New experiences, adventures and travel are the fuel to the fire of my life. They keep me inspired and motivated. This year offers some very exciting adventures and I intend to grab on to them with both hands.
3. Action: Nothing big happens without massive action, isn’t that right? This one goes hand in hand with “Creativity”. I am giving myself the space to be creative, but it won’t take shape unless I take action.
What about you? What three words represent your goals and desires for 2013?
great post, Joanna! I have one word for 2013 – Truth, specifically, allowing others access to more of the real me – eek! If I had to choose others: Discovery – instead of being a sponge to others’ ideas, beliefs, mannerisms, etc, discovering who I am, what I want, more intimately; resolve (favored over discipline), specifically resolving to self love and self care to the most extreme degree possible for me! Thanks for asking 🙂
Two great words Joy. Best of luck with you 2013 of Truth and Discovery.
